Ci Yungui, male, born in Tongcheng, Anhui Province, was a Chinese computer scientist widely honored as "the father of China's supercomputers". He led the development of China's first vacuum‑tube digital computer prototype, first transistorized general‑purpose computer and first supercomputer.
