Fred Harrison Cate is a distinguished professor and the C. Ben Dutton Professor of Law at Indiana University Maurer School of Law. From 2015 to 2023, he served as Indiana University's Vice President for Research. He served as founding director and is now a senior fellow of the Center for Applied Cybersecurity Research.
