Ran Canetti is an Israeli cryptographer. He is a professor of Computer Science at Boston University, a director of the Check Point Institute for Information Security at Tel-Aviv University, and a director of the Center for Reliable Information System and Cyber Security at Boston University. He is known for work spanning multiple areas of cryptography, with an emphasis on the design, analysis and use of cryptographic protocols.
